My nephew, Ice, celebrated his birthday at The Peninsula Manila. Place was good. Food was great. Company even grander!

While the boys were out for a swim, Julia and I had bonding time!

According to an MMDA report, the number of accidents along the streets of Metro Manila due to improper use of the road more particularly Jaywalking are steadily increasing.

Book1 - SUUUUUPER KILIG!!!! My favorite book!
Book 2 - boring first half, excitement upped the latter part
Book 3 - I hate hate hate Bella, Edward and Jacob! Ang aarte nilang lahat! I want to push them to a deep ravine!

Maan commented, "But that would only kill Bella!" Oh darn, she's right! Well, so mush so with that action plan! I'll think of another one then! Hahaha!

I'm still struggling to finish Eclipse. Raaar! Not that it's not enticing to read... moreso I'm fighting sleepless nights because of reading it! Hahaha!

Looking forward to Book 4! Which from my perception would be my 2nd and last favorite book in this series... unless Stephenie Meyer comes up with the complete Midnight Sun already! Hahaha!

Last October 30 was Upper School's Halloween Spirit Day. People were asked to come in Friday dress code with a wild or loud accessory... and yes, by the title of this entry, you guessed right! I came as a cat... sans the tail nga lang... hahaha!

Ang cute nung pair of cat ears & ribbon no??? I would given Halle Berry a run for her money as Catwoman! Tsss! Asa! Hahaha! This just cost me a cheap-o price of P70.00!!!! Hahaha! Darn, I must admit that this was such a good deal!

It was only last Saturday that I jumped on the Twilight bandwagon. I finished reading 'til Book 2. And yes, I now understand what Miss Wena means about it being attractive to readers especially the teens. All that's bawal, dangerous and exciting just spell only one name -- Edward Cullen!Ü OH YEAH! I'm sure you'd agree! Haha!

So now, I can't wait to finish the 4-book series. Looking forward to the long weekend then!

And yes, like any other book that catches fire, it's now a movie. Can't wait too! November 21! It's definitely a date!Ü



And much to my surprise, it's Cedric Diggory who'll play Edward Cullen! Definitely another reason to watch the movie! Hehe!

Lower School Kids really claim my office as their Official Tambayan! That can work both ways -- good and bad. Hahaha!

Good because they make me laugh and smile a whoooole lot! Bad because I don't get to work that much if they're there. Bantay si Ms. de Vera eh. Oh yeah, in loci parentis. Haha!

But no matter how much I want to drive them away sometimes, I just don't have the heart... Aaaawwwww... these kids are really really wonderfully sweet!

Happy Hormone Hype

I feel like such a couch potato. I AM a couch potato. No volleyball, no swimming. Kaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Now that summer's rearing its head, I feel the need to get up and get active!Ü I started yesterday. Wahahaha!!!! Hope I can keep this up!

I really really really really really wanna go kickboxing or attend hiphop class. Pero ayoko mag-isa! Sino gusto sumama??????? TARA NA!!!!!!!!!! Let's kick and punch and dance and groove the worries and stress away!

I watched Game 2 of the Men's Volleyball Championship Series last Wednesday. I didn't blog about it kasi talo kami... sore loser! hahaha!!!

Game 3 was yesterday. With the Championship Series tied at 1 win each, super dasal talaga ako na UST manalo! Anyway, I was able to watch the women's game muna.. talo Adamson... tsk tsk tsk... but a well-deserved win for the Tamaraws...

Of course, next up was the men's game na! UST vs. FEU! Golly gulay, 1st set pa lang pagod na ko sa excitement! Hahaha!

Were you able to watch???? If not, hindi nyo na-witness ang blooper and kairita of the year! Set point of Set 2, UST-23 FEU-24... UST on offense... receive, set, UST attacker mid-air for the spike... all went black... huh? huh? ano nangyari?!?!?!? NAG-BROWNOUT SA ARENA!!!!!!!! Wahahahahahahaha!

Ayun, nairita and natawa na lang ako... antagal bumalik ng power... I think that was a good 15 minutes of power outage! Wasn't able to finish the game because I had to go to church na for rehearsal.

At the church, Mike, Winnie & I were all fidgety! Hindi kasi namin alam kung sino na nananalo!!!! Jay even texted, "Are you winning?" Waaaaaa!!!!! Just before our mass started, a friend of Winnie texted him, FIFTH SET NA DAW!!!! Huwaaaaaat?!?!?!?!? May 5th set?!?!?!?!??! Raaaaaaaar!!!!!!!!!

Hay naku, I tell you, all my prayers and intentions that mass were all for the UST men's volleyball team. I'm sure Mike's and Winnie's were too! Plea and pray to the max talaga! Hahaha!

In the middle of the mass, kinalibit ako ng malakas ni Winnie... when I looked at him, super pigil yung tuwa nya sa mukha, he mouthed "PANALO TAYO!" and was making gestures of yes! champion! hahahahaa!!!! Wala akong nasabi that moment kundi OH MY GOD!!!!!! I hollered Mike, said na champion USTe! Di rin ma-describe yung saya sa mukha nya! Hahahahahaha! And yeah, lahat 'to repressed kasi nasa choir loft kami sa kalagitnaan ng misa! Heller! Talk about silent screams! Hahahahahahaha!!!!!

Oh yeah, diss Game 2 kasi CHAMPION NA KAMI!!!!!!!!



I have to congratulate the whole team! Major team effort talaga 'to! I love the replacements! It was just yesterday that I witnessed na super lakas nga ng bench ng UST! I was surprised that Coach Lontoc fielded replacements in a Championship Game, a do-or-die Game 3 at that pa! But they wowwed me! They were ALL magnificent! They ALL performed beyond expectation! Hanep!

Lost Without You

I lost my camera last friday. =(( Dropped it somewhere I guess...

Still, I'm not able to cry on this pa... walang panahon nung weekend eh, fully-booked! Haaaaay... but the sore feeling and sadness is still much in my chest and I know I have to let this out or I have to have this replaced by happy emotions...

To my ever-loved camera: I'll miss you. You know I'm lost without you. I hope your new owner will love and cherish you as much as I did.

Reflecting on this situation, I have the following to be thankful for:
Let me be thankful first, because I lost it and it was not forcefully taken from me. Second, although it was my all, it was not much especially my life. Third, because it was my camera that was lost, not myself, my family, my friends nor my faith. And last, because despite my misfortune, I still can see sunshine through the shadows.
