Captivated By Enchanted

Last Monday I watched Enchanted with Ghem, Allan, Nath and Mike.

ANG FUUUUN!!!!! Cutesie-patootsie but still! Aliw talaga! Feel good movie! Watchit watchit watchit!Ü

TIP: Perfect date flick kung sweetie pie yung girl. But if she's stiff, don't bring her there! Away lang yan! Hahaha!Ü

I soooooo love the song played during the ball... dreamy na naman ako! Wahaha!Ü I was still up in Cloud 9 when I watched this! Hay managinip daw ba ako nang gising! Hahaha! =P

You’re in my arms
And all the world is calm
The music playing on for only two
So close together
And when I’m with you
So close to feeling alive
A life goes by
Romantic dreams will stop
So I bid mine goodbye and never knew
So close was waiting, waiting here with you
And now forever I know
All that I wanted to hold you
So close
So close to reaching that famous happy end
Almost believing this was not pretend
And now you’re beside me and look how far we’ve come
So far we are so close
How could I face the faceless days
If I should lose you now?
We’re so close
To reaching that famous happy end
And almost believing this was not pretend
Let’s go on dreaming for we know we are
So close
So close
And still so far

Aaaawwwwww... amazing di ba?!?!?!?! Wala lang... oh well, maybe it's just me. It usually is. Hahaha!Ü

PS. I adore Giselle's blue dress! Hehe. =P

Don't Buy Me Love

Now that Christmas is fast approaching, I better blog about this...

I just read this from a Yahoo article. Cut off most of the parts. Just retained those which I know would kick some sense into friends. Hehehe.Ü

For a lot of men, emotional language simply isn't something they're entirely fluent in. And like any traveler in a foreign land, men often look for simple ways to translate what they're trying to say into a lexicon that's more familiar and comfortable.

Language of physical contact - what a man can't express verbally, he expresses physically
Language of frequency - lots of phone calls and emails
Language of currency - they communicate love by throwing money at it

Unfortunately, a man expressing affection with money can lead to a woman feeling like she's being seen as a commodity, not an individual. It's a tricky balancing act for the guy.

My heart goes out to the guys whose language is currency. You should be very wary. There's a very fine line between investing on your special someone and trying to buy her off.

Difficult I know, lalo na if you want to show off. Just keep in mind: Money shouldn't ever do the work of relationship building; your words and your silence ought to do that.Ü

Hope this helps.Ü

B.I.L.

Ang galing mo, Kuya Jess! You're really really amazing...

Last Fri to Sun was Reedley's very first DWTL weekend. Yep, you read it right. Batch 1. I'm still awed and amazed how this weekend was so magical. I don't know how to share it. Just believe me when I say magical talaga. AS IN!

When I think of the 14 participants, I remember my Yuppie Batch, the 29ers.Ü They're as close... as sweet... as open... as honest... as sincere... as fervent in their prayers... as gulo and definitely as kulet! Ang galing! Hahaha!Ü

Basta, when we see each other I'll tell you about them... you may not feel how I felt those times... but look into my eyes when I tell the stories, you'll see sheer amazement.Ü

I have one story to share here... it's not about them, it's about me...

Friday night I went to the prayer room, naka-repose na si Jess. Sabi ko kay Jess gisingin ko muna sya, so I exposed Him again. There in the dark, with just two lit candles, I poured my heart out. As in poured it out talaga. Sabi ko Jess bigay mo naman wish ko... yun lang talaga prayer ko for now eh... yung lang talaga gusto ko... And I did something that I NEVER EVER dared to do before. (I might have been inspired by the Chocolate War's Do I dare disturb the universe? hehe...) I made a deal with God. I dared Him. I tested Kuya Jess. I asked for a sign from Him. If He gives me that sign, that means something. Kapag walang sign, wala ding something. Usually, when I do this, malaki yung chance na mangyayari yung 1st premise. Semi-sure win kumbaga. Madaya, I know. There was just something in me that night that made me dare, really dare, to make a deal kahit na alam kong there's such a high probability that it will not happen. Na alam ko pag hindi nangyari yun, cry to death talaga ako. Antapang ko di ba? Pero wala, I just have to test Him. Actually, now that I think of it more, it's not Him I tested, I tested myself, how much I trust Him, how much guts I have to surrender my fate and my life into His hands, to let go and let God.

(I wouldn't tell the details here... for selected ears lang eh... hahaha! Baka sumabit ako...Ü)

You know what?!?!?!?!? Before the weekend came to a close, IT HAPPENED!!!! Ang galing!Ü Hanggang batok talaga ngiti ko nun! Hahaha!Ü Ambait mo sa 'kin Jess! Ang lakas ko sa 'yo!Ü

But Jess still teased me... you really confuse me sometimes, Jess... I asked for that and he gave me ONLY that talaga... wala man lang pa-extra kahit konti! Hahaha! Di ko alam if you were just again testing me... malamang oo.Ü

I cried during the last staffer's disco... sabi ko totoo ba 'yun? sign ba talaga yun? Baka kasi hindi eh... parang hindi naman talaga... but it's there, while crying again, that I realized BINIGAY MO NGA YUNG WISH KO. YOU ANSWERED MY VERY PRAYER. Parang I can imagine You making face and saying, di ka naman naging specific sa prayer mo eh... wala naman yung iniiyak mo sa wish mo... I answered what you asked from me... what your heart desired... why are you still crying??? Tapos iiling-iling ka sa kalulitan ko... hahaha!Ü

I LOVE YOU JESS!Ü YOU'RE THE BEST TALAGA!Ü
Kahit pagod na ako... kahit puyat or walang tulog... when You call, I'll be there...

BASTA IKAW!Ü

PS. You're my answered prayer. I hope I can tell you that.Ü

Stand tall. Be proud. And ask, "Are you one of us?"

Reiteration

You are a very generous person -- to a fault. Today, you need to protect yourself.

You are a very generous person -- to a fault, sometimes. There are some new people in your life right now who could be angling to take advantage of the fact that you tend to think of the needs of others before you consider your own needs. Today, you need to protect yourself. Switch around your priority list to focus more on giving yourself what you need (and keeping what you have). Conservation is a big long word for hanging on to what you've worked so hard for.

Conservation pa din... tsk tsk tsk... water pwede?

A Gastos Reminder

A friendly, and I must say, utterly timely reminder FOR ME on sweldo day... hahaha!Ü

Conservation should be a big priority for you right now -- don't waste anything.

Conservation should be a big priority for you right now -- be careful not to waste any of your time or money. Keep an eye on other resources that cannot be easily replaced. The only thing you can (and should) give freely is your affection. Show the people in your life how much you care about them with an extra firm hug, an earnest handshake, or maybe even a quick peck on the cheek. Words can convey your feelings, but there is nothing like contact to make a connection.

Can someone help me save? DARN! Magastos talaga ako... I KNOW RIGHT??? Hahaha!ÜÜÜ

Calling all Kings and Queens of Thrift, come to my rescue! Watchevers! **bleh**

Panalo!

Just received two of my favorite forwarded text messages yesterday... oh well, technically speaking, the other one I received kaninang madaling araw...

Number 1: From Mylene (thanks mare, this made me laugh so hard!Ü)

What's in the number 7?
Why is it God's perfect number when in fact 7 is an odd number?
Just think...
There are 7 days in a week...
7 wonders of the world...
In the Bible you must forgive a person 70 x 7...
Even the word FORGIVE has 7 letters...
The rainbow has 7 colors and the word RAINBOW has 7 letters too...
Even the word PROMISE...
Maybe God designed it, for even the word MYSTERY has 7 letters...

and now use OLAY TOTAL EFFECTS to fight the 7 signs of skin aging...

-- Inday, applying as an endorser for Olay

HAHAHA!!!! =)

On to the next one...

Number two: From Leo (can relate, dude! can relate!Ü)

Para sa mga tumataba, hirit ng may crush sa kanila:
"Alam mo tumataba ka...

Bumibilog...

Unti-unti kang nagiging...

... mundo ko!"

Yan naman eh! Da best!Ü
Can relate... can relate talaga... major! Hahaha!Ü

Thanks Leo & Mylene, loveit loveit loveit!!!Ü
