Last December 20, 2006 was DC's best day ever! Why????
WE WON!!! CHAMPIONS!!!
Twas the night the Quezon City District 2 Chorale Competition 2006 was held. It was done in Batasan Hills National High School. Of the 15 church choirs targeted to join the competition, 12 only registered. Of the 12 who registered, only 7 showed up for the competition! Any idea why??? Kami rin wala, but I have an inkling. It was maybe because they did not know that the venue was changed!!! KAAAAA!!! Commonwealth School ang sinabing venue eh but it was changed to another! Luckily, I called the Councilor's office that afternoon to ask about other matters. That's when I learned about the new venue! That's when I had to text my choirmates about it! And that's the time I had to inform all the invited guests how to get there! Biruin nyo, buti na lang pala I called! Kaaaaaa, these people talaga! Oh well, enough ranting... we won! **worldwidest grin evah!**

Mel is unbelievable! Mirror image ba kami ni Mel??? Pareho ba kami ng bangs??? Mukha din ba akong Imelda Pappin??? Oh no! Wahahaha! You judge, people! This Mel is waaaaay ambisyosa!
After performing and eating dinner, VIPs went around for picture taking.

Grabe! Ate Honey was crying even before the 3rd prize was awarded (which I thought was OA... Hahaha!Ü) but when they started calling upon the 1st and 2nd runners-up, my heart was really thumping! Kabog talaga! As in! I was thinking, kami naman talaga yung pinakamatino yung tunog eh, kami pa yung walang conductor, kami pa ang may pinakamatinong costume (hahaha!)... Basta kami yung best I think... But the Ever incident (read it here) kept replaying in my mind, so I didn't wanna assume we'll win, I might get uberly frustrated again. The host was prolonging our agony, he was injecting some other campaign lines, reminders and what-nots in between the announcement of winners! And when he said, "Ang first place.... DISCIPLES CHOIR!!!", ay hello, sigaw to hilo talaga ako!!! As in! Hahahaha! Nandilim yung paningin ko nun kakasigaw! Hahahaha! MY GAWD! MY GAWD! Waaaaaaa!!! We wooooon!!!
